Our Story (since 2015)

Since November 2015, the Timperley DofE Award Centre has been helping young people push themselves further than they ever thought possible.

We started with just over 60 participants. In that first year alone, their practice and qualifying expeditions added up to the equivalent of walking from Land’s End to John O’Groats and back. Since then, we’ve grown into a thriving community of around 200 young people working towards their Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.

We’re proud to be a registered charity and licensed DofE centre, rooted in the Timperley / Altrincham area and supported by a dedicated team of leaders and volunteers.

For young people, that means you’re joining a centre with experience, friendly faces and a track record of getting teams to the finish line. For parents, it means a safe, organised and well-managed environment where your child is encouraged, supported and looked after.
