Who We Are

Our Duke of Edinburgh Award Centre was set up in November 2015. In our first year over 60 young people enrolled and successfully completed their expeditions – they collectively walked the equivalent of Lands End to John O’Groats and back to complete their practice and qualifying expeditions at bronze and silver level.

We now have 200 young people taking park at Bronze, Silver and Gold level. We are a registered charity and licensed DofE centre based at Altrincham Kersal Rugby Football Club, Timperley.

What We Do

Running expeditions each year for Bronze, Silver and Gold awards into the Lake District, the Peak District the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales.

Run entirely by volunteers. If you want to come and help be part of the team read our Volunteering page to find out more then get in touch.
