Safeguarding
Safeguarding
The Timperley DofE Award Centre is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Safeguarding is the action taken to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm. At Timperley DofE Award Centre this includes:
Protecting children and young people from abuse or maltreatment
Preventing harm to their health or development
Ensuring they can take part in Duke of Edinburgh’s Award activities safely and without concern
Carefully managing the risks associated with the personal challenges involved in DofE activities
We have a number of policies, procedures and guidance in place that support this commitment, including:
Safeguarding Policy
Codes of Conduct
Other related policies available in the Policies and Reports section of this website
If you have any safeguarding questions or concerns, please use the Contact Us page to reach our Safeguarding Officer or email us directly.
